    A dozer final drive is the last stage of the powertrain, converting powertrain output into the low-speed, high-torque rotation that turns the sprocket and moves the track. It houses a planetary gear reduction along with the bearings and seals that support and protect it. Without a functioning final drive on each side, the dozer can’t move under power, regardless of engine or hydraulic system condition.
